The Three Essentials: An Online Daylong Retreat

9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday August 27, 2022
Online - Presented by Long Beach Meditation

Great faith, great doubt, and great determination are considered to be three essentials for Zen practice. If any of these essentials are absent, we may not accomplish our aim. When all three essentials are functioning, we cannot avoid realization. Authentic dharma practice requires our wholehearted effort in order to see deeply into the mystery of being. The steady, unfailing practice of meditation supports inquiry into the nature of original self. In this daylong class we will examine the three essentials in order to better understand our personal expression of practice, and refine their application in everyday life.

This online day long retreat will include ample time for meditation and periods of restful silence as well as dharma talks and discussion, focused on the three essentials.
