Half-Day: The Practice of Essential Questioning
Natural koans can serve as an effective key for unlocking deeper realization of our original self. Timeless human questions such as “Who am I?” and “What is this?” can help to disrupt discursive thinking and focus our energies in one place. Through deep, essential questioning we can unravel knots in our understanding and become more intimate with this precious life.
This class offers the opportunity for focused, in-depth study. It is particularly recommended for more experienced meditators looking to deepen their practice.
Our practice will include sitting meditation, a dharma talk and time for questions and discussion. We will utilize breakout rooms for small group collaboration and reflections.
